There's the loss that accompanies knowing.
And then there's the loss that accompanies knowing only that you did not, could not or would not know.
The trick is not to value one type of knowledge over the other.
Gosh, I don't know; perhaps it's the opposite.
Maybe the value's in decidedly valuing one -- whole-heartedly, doubtlessly.
Don't trust me because I trust everything.
Especially my own self.
