Hi lovelies,
Recently I received an amazing package from Ostar and today I'm going to share it with you! The package contains 9 magnetic Amber Gel polishes out of which I'll review five new releases() in this post. The Magnetic shifting effect of these gel polishes is so amazing that no words can describe it! See it yourself in the video below.
Ostar also sent me two super cute magnets to work with the polishes. For the linear magnetic shift effect I used the rectangular magnet. The base coat used is Ostar Gel Base Coat and top coat is Ostar Super Shining Top Coat. All the polishes require two coats for good opacity.
First up is Ostar Ag020. My personal favourite! I really loved the turquoise blue shade. The shift effect is subtle and really smooth, and the formula is also comfortable to work with.
Next is Ostar Ag021. It is an orangish-bronze shade that approaches brown along the edges of your nails. This polish has the strong shifting effect which can be easily observed. (See the video!)
Ostar Ag022 is a dark pink-rosewood shade with a decent silver magnetic shift. The pink and silver combination looks really elegant.
Next is Ostar Ag023. It is a dark grey shade with a noticeable blue undertone. The magnetic particles seem a bit larger in this polish so the shift effect was a little difficult to capture. Overall the polish in itself looks good with the silver shimmer.
Last is Ostar Ag024. This navy blue-azure blue shade has a strong magnetic shift and an amazing shine in bright surroundings. I didn't notice it in-person but some holo particles can also be observed in the pics.
So overall the Amber collection is a fabulous collection especially if you are in love with magnetic polishes(like me!) I really like the turquoise(Ag020) and navy blue(Ag024) shades.
