I feel like Lanvin clothes are timeless and that's something to look forward to when buying new clothes.

FW 07.08:
They created a contrast between dresses and coats which were very voluptous and other pieces (lots of pencil skirts) which were tight, so we could see the models' curves.

We can see some colour, but this collection is mainly black.

Alber defines this collection as realistic, and I think it is. Sober and elegant suits and dresses, which had small details to make them a bit more special.

I told you before, it wasn't the last time you were going to see wigs. Those were Alber's words about them: "I always believe in individuality and I love when women are themselves. Here, I see women going to get the same lips at the doctors, the same dress, and I wanted to see how it would look to have all the girls looking the same".
Apart from that, what we see in every outfit is a form that highlights the waist.
Ya os dije antes que no era la última vez que ibais a ver pelucas. Estas son las palabras de Alber sobre ellas: "Siempre creo en la individualidad y me gusta que las mujeres sean ellas mismas. Pero aparte de eso, lo que vemos en cada pase es una forma que destaca la cintura.

This has to be my favourite show. The collection is great too, but the show was super powerful. The way Frida opened was mind-blowing.

It was a quite dark spring/summer collection, with some acid colours.

Inspiration: flowers and trees. Sobriety in colours and shapes, and some eclesiastic looks.

But, for the 2nd part of the show, the collection changed to a more optimistic mood with lots of bright colours.

FW 12.13:
This was a collection to celebrate Alber's anniversary as Lanvin's designer, so it's a bit of a mix of his work for the brand.

SS 13:
This is my favourite collection. Also, it is the first one I got to see in person and I was really impressed about how good the clothes looked, much better than on pictures. And, I have to say I didn't have the same feeling with other major brands.
I just love the shapes, the colours, the original side of some outfits,...I think it's a great collection.
Esta es mi colección favorita. Además, es la primera que pude ver en persona y me impresionó mucho lo bonitas que me parecían las prendas, mucho mejor que en fotos. Y, he de decir que no he tenido ese sentimiento con otras grandes marcas.

They did different beauty looks for the girls, and I feel like that was a way of separating the different sections of the show. Some girls got a nude look, some a bold lip, some a smokey eye...and some got a stronger or weaker look (nudes).
Hicieron diferentes looks de belleza para las chicas, y siento que esa era una manera de separar las diferentes secciones del desfile. Unas chicas tenían un look nude, otras un labio fuerte, otras un smokey...y unas recibieron un look más fuerte y otras uno más débil (nudes).
